Financial Services Manager International (m/f/d) - Munich based

Germany, Munich
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your daily workout

EGYM Financial Services is growing fast – and so are our international markets. We are searching for a Financial Services Manager (m/f/d) in Munich to support this growth in Spain, France, the UK and beyond: our partners and sales teams out there need a counterpart who truly gets them. Someone who shows up, builds trust face-to-face, and drives leasing & financing volume together with the local sales force. If you know your way around vendor finance, like languages, and love getting things done in the market – this role was built for you. You don't wait for the phone to ring – you pick it up first!

  • International Market Ownership: You are the go-to person for our international leasing & financing business – primarily Spain, France, the UK, and Switzerland. You manage the end-to-end process from deal structuring through to contract closing and portfolio monitoring
  • Sparring Partner: You work shoulder-to-shoulder with local sales teams and distributors, supporting them in converting prospects into financed deals by translating complex financing options into clear, compelling propositions for customers
  • Active Market Presence: You travel to our key international markets approximately once per quarter – visiting sales teams, meeting key customers, and deepening relationships with local banking and leasing partners. You don't wait to be called; you reach out
  • Bank & Partner Management: You maintain and grow our relationships with international leasing banks and financial partners, negotiate framework terms, and ensure smooth processing through partner portals and systems
  • Process Excellence: You identify bottlenecks, design better workflows, and help scale our international operations while keeping Salesforce and relevant data systems clean, current, and reliable
  • Cross-functional Interface: You collaborate closely with Sales, Order Management, Finance, and Legal to ensure financing-related topics are handled seamlessly from initial inquiry to delivery

Your fitness level

  • Background: You hold a degree in finance, economics, or business – or a commercial apprenticeship combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience in leasing, vendor finance, banking, or a comparable financial services environment
  • Sales Mindset: You think like a sales person even if your role isn't classic field sales. You're proactive, target-oriented, and energised by closing deals and building long-term partnerships – not just administering them
  • International Savviness: You're comfortable navigating different cultures, work styles, and market dynamics. You've worked across borders before and know how to adapt your approach
  • Language Skills: You are fluent and professional in English together with French and/or Spanish (written and spoken). German is a plus
  • Mobility: You're open to quarterly travel to international markets (e.g. Spain, France, UK, Switzerland) and energised – not drained – by the idea of a two-day trip to Valencia or London
  • Tools & Systems: You're proficient in Salesforce (or a comparable CRM), comfortable with Excel, and at ease in bank partner web portals
  • Communication & Credibility: You communicate with confidence – whether presenting a financing proposal to a fitness studio owner in Barcelona or aligning with a Country Head in Munich

Your training goal for your first 6 months

  • Market Understanding: You have developed a deep understanding of the financing needs, partner landscapes, and competitive dynamics in your key international markets
  • Sales Team Integration: You've completed at least one in-market visit per key country and have built trusted working relationships with local sales managers and key distributors
  • Portfolio Ownership: You've taken full ownership of the international leasing portfolio: active contracts, open items, and renewal pipeline are clean, monitored, and reported
  • Process & Systems Mastery: You know our tools inside out – Salesforce, bank partner portals, internal workflows – and you've already identified and tackled at least one improvement area
  • Stakeholder Trust: You are recognised by Sales, Finance, and your banking partners as a reliable, knowledgeable, and proactive sparring partner for all things international financing
